Practice Nurses

The Practice Nurses are available at various times every day. Although the Nurses can, of course, undertake any of the above procedures wherever possible their appointments should be booked for the following procedures only:-

– Spirometry – needing reversibility testing;
– Blood pressure monitoring for newly diagnosed Hypertensive patients;
– Chronic Disease Reviews – Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Stroke/TIA, Chronic Kidney Disease, Epilepsy, Hypertension;
– Cervical Smear Tests;
– Swabs;
– Travel vaccinations and advice
– Sexual Health advice/Contraception
– Baby Immunisations
– Flu Clinics (Winter)
